Global Pattern Formation · Time · Preparation
A farmer never tastes a mango before its time — for it would be firm, bitter, almost hostile to the tongue. He doesn't blame the tree, for he knows better. Some sweetness cannot be forced; it must ripen in days no one celebrates. Count too fast, and you don't arrive sooner — you arrive wrong.
So every day is counted. Not skipped. Not rushed. Not collapsed into whenever it happens.
Formation takes time because you are not just arriving somewhere — you are becoming someone.
The Omer count runs from Passover to Shavuot — from liberation to revelation. Forty-nine days. Each one named. Each one counted. The people did not jump from Egypt to Sinai in a moment. They were shaped in the journey.
Stop trying to speed up one area of your life today. Let it take the time it actually requires.
